Holster for the Model 1862 Colt Police revolver. This holster is designed “flapless” with a waist belt loop attached by one rivet and sewn at the bottom. The length of this holster is 10 ½”from top opening to the muzzle end. The mouth opening measures 4” across. Present condition of the leather is excellent with very few signs of crazing on its surface. The stitching at the seams is totally intact and without separation. The current color of the leather is a deep chocolate brown. No signs of manufacturer’s markings. A scarce period holster.
