Wonderful unissued condition Model 1855 bayonet scabbard.
The black bridle leather scabbard body has no crazing or weak spots and 98% of the finish remains. There are a few minor scratches but nothing to detract.
The brass finial has a light patina and is free of dents.
The brown buff leather frog has 8 copper rivets and much of the knap remains on the leather surface.
