Original black bridle leather scabbard. The leather body is in nice condition with a good tight seam running up the back with finish loss on outside edges. Brass scabbard tip tightly attached with four tacks. Arched leather frog is in good condition. The frog has seven rivets and is attached to the scabbard by stitching and an additional rivet. All leather is in good condition. Frog is clearly stamped with a “R. NECE / PHILAD.” maker’s mark as well as an oval sub-inspector’s stamp. [jet]
