The scabbard is in very good condition. The “WD” (War Department) and broad arrow ordnance stamp is clearly present, stamped into the leather below the brass throat. Throat, with stud, remains firmly attached by four brass tacks. Leather is in excellent condition and seam stitching is firm and tight. The brass tip is attached with three brass tacks. The brass scabbard tip is slightly loose.   [jet]
