Ca. 1850. "Muchoirs D'Instruction Militaire No. #3 Cavalerie, manufacture de E. Renault a Rouen". White linen scarf measuring 28 x 30", trimmed with .5" red border red around outer edge, with red circle within, measuring 20" in diameter. Scarf is illustrated with cavalry figures, bugle calls, and instructions in French. Red bordering lightly frayed on two sides; light - moderate water stained spot [6" x 12"] within. Else VG & highly attractive.
