This item comes from a collection of Civil War navy items. It is a piece of chipped glass in the shape of a square. These were placed inside of rooms in the ship to admit light. This piece meas. 2.75 x 2.75 x 3.00 at its longest. The glass has numerous waves, lines and some air bubbles.
