Narrow cage crinoline worn during the early bustle era. Constructed with five vertical 1¾" wide vertical tapes. Ten 1/16"-wide thread-covered steels create shaping at the top of the crinoline. Fifteen steels create the silhouette at the bottom of the crinoline. The spacing in between the two sets of steels is maintained with a system of ½" wide tapes arranged in a diamond pattern and secured with metal nailheads.  The buckle at the waistline is missing. Hand-worked buttonholes at the sides and center back of the waistband allowed the crinoline to be fastened to the corset. Length 32", waist approximately 24”, bottom circumference 80".
