This is a political pin from the 1864 presidential election. Made up for General McClellan supporters. This is constructed using a gem-sized paper image housed in a small brass mat. The matted photo is suspended from an American flag ribbon that has a stamped brass eagle at the top. A spring pin and catch are attached to the back of the eagle. The item measures ¾” x 2 ¼” overall. In excellent condition. [jet]
