This is an old stoneware apothecary jar.  It features a pouring spout and colorful salt glazed decorations. Possibly of French or Italian origin. It measures approximately 9” tall x 6” wide. Decorated in blues, browns, yellow, and green. Labeled “SP*DILVPPOLI” which is Latin for some type of syrup. Numerous small chips to the paint and finish but no breaks or repairs.  [jet]
