English Delft porcelain jar features gold gilt bands with a floral cartouche label that reads, “POTENTILLAS REPTANS”. This is a creeping perennial plant native to Eurasia and Northern Africa and was used for its ability to calm the gastrointestinal system, reduce inflammation, promote rapid healing, eliminate pain, improve respiratory health, and soothe the skin.

Jar has a wonderful crackled patina and is free of cracks and chips.

Measures 9 ¼” high x 4 ¼” at the base.  [sm]
