Victorian “aide memoire” has silver latch, rivet and shield shaped cartouche. Six celluloid pages labeled with the days of the week from Monday to Saturday fan out for writing reminders. These were commonly used by Civil War officers.
Excellent condition with some light surface dirt in areas. Measures 3 ½” x 1 ¾”. [sl]
