Victorian “aide memoire” has silver latch, rivet and shield shaped cartouche. Six celluloid pages labeled with the days of the week from Monday to Saturday fan out for writing reminders…there is no page for Sunday. Front and back covers are antique ivory. These were commonly used by Civil War officers.
Measures approximately 3 ¼” x 1 ¾”. Back cover has a vertical strip of ivory missing on the side. Other side has a chip at the corner. Cover and pages show spotting and remnants of pencil markings. Overall, good condition. [sl]
