Large tin cup that meas. approx. 4.75 inches high x 4.25 across the bottom. The cup has a flat bottom with a wire reinforced handle on one side. This pattern is considered to be the Army issue cup for the Civil War.
The body of the cup is in good used condition. Tin is discolored from age and use and there is a slight bend in the lip and a small bulge in one side.
This is a nice used example of a Civil War soldier’s cup.
