Tin coffee pot from the 19th century, commonly used by soldiers and civilians alike. Measures approx. 6 ½” tall x 6 ½” diameter at the base. Base, side seams, rolled handle on lid and spout of pot are all soldered. Curved handle is riveted and soldered. Rim is rolled over. Tin has darkened with age. Exterior and interior surfaces show areas of scattered rust but exhibit no holes or perforations.  [sl]
