Civil War-era, hard rubber collapsible cup with lid. The top cover (lid) is maker marked “NILES DRINKING CUP * PATENTED JUNE 5th * 1860 *”. This cup has four segments that open and close to form a traveling cup. A nice soldier's personal item. Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. [jet]
