Gold locket has a beautifully engraved design on front and back, including the name, “JENNIE” on the back. The inside of the locket contains a post-mortem daguerreotype photo of a little girl. The image has some oxidation on the edges. The other side of the locket has a dark colored piece of fabric. Both items are under glass. Locket is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings.
This is a very unique and beautiful piece for those who collect Victorian mourning items.
