Gold and black pin which is actually a locket containing woven hair. Back of pin has clear glass with woven hair showing underneath the glass. This is a piece of mourning hair jewelry which was very common in the Victorian era. The pin measures 1- 1/8”. Good condition with working pin and hook, but black glass is cracked into three sections. Center of black glass may have once held a gemstone.

A very nice piece for collectors of mourning items.
