Beautiful black and gold framed brooch has woven hair under the glass. Seed pearls surround the glass, seven of which are missing. Original hook is present on reverse but pin has broken off from the soldered base. This could be repaired by a jeweler or brooch could be worn as a pendant with a chain put through the loop meant for pin. Brooch measures approx. 1 3/8” x 1 ¾”.
This piece was part of a wonderful, large collection of jewelry we acquired. [sm]
