Embossed zinc compact traveling mirrors such as this were widely used during the war. Most were imported and sold by town merchants and sutlers to the soldiers in camp. Wire stand and ring are present on the underside. Lid is lined in fuchsia colored paper. Mirror is in very good condition with no cracks.  [jet]
