Wooden case has riveted swing- away cover to protect mirror when not in use. Original mirror shows light to moderate oxidation. Wood base behind mirror has a small area of cracking, overall this piece is in very good condition considering age and use. This type of mirror was commonly carried by Civil War soldiers.
