REAL PHOTO POSTCARD OF THREE UNDERAGE COWBOYS HAVING A DRINKING PARTY

$35.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 561-18

Image shows three very young cowboys that can’t be more than 16 years old. They sit around a table on which are two open bottles.

The oldest of the three is sitting on the table. He wears a light slouch hat with a dark handkerchief with printed flowers tied around his neck. He also wears a white shirt and his trousers are covered by animal skin chaps. He wears his gun belt around his waist and has drawn his revolver and is pointing it at the cowboy sitting across from him.

This second cowboy sits on a small barrel and faces his revolver wielding antagonist with a dead pan stare. He wears a light low crowned slouch hat with the same flowered neckerchief as his opponent. He also wears a white shirt with dark trousers covered with leather chaps with round silver decorations. To defend himself he holds a bottle in his left hand ready to strike. A closer look reveals the barrel of his revolver sticking out past the bottle. His gun hand is hidden from the camera by his body. The third cowboy is the youngest of them all. He appears to be about 12 or 13 years old. He wears a light slouch hat with a dark shirt and the same neckerchief as the other two. Because he is seated on the far side of the table only his upper body is visible. He is reaching across the table with his left grabbing the free left hand of the first cowboy. With his right hand he is reaching for his gun.

Image was taken in a studio with a painted interior setting.

Clarity and contrast are excellent.  [ad]
