Album meas. approx. 12.50 x 8.50 inches and contains 125 original photographs and 6 modern blow-ups of several interesting photos from the album. Cover is striped linen. The owner was assigned to 2/s Heavy Artillery Detachment, Motorized 850 on the Russian front.

Album contains photos of life on the Russian front showing artillery, numerous German graves with 1941 – 1942 dates, field award presentation ceremonies, prisoner photos, civilians, soldiers, damaged buildings, girls, scenery, artillery emplacements, a funeral and a destroyed train.
