Image is mounted on heavy black card stock floral and leaf embossed decorations at center. Mount is in nice condition and meas. approx. 9.00 x 7.00 inches. Reverse of mount has a period pencil inscription that reads “REUNION -126TH REGT / N. Y. VOLS. AT ARMORY / GENEVA, N.Y. / AUG 31-1915.”

Paper image on the mount meas. approx. 6.75 x 4.75 and shows a group of approx. 60 members of the 126th New York with some wives and children along with the fife and drum corps of the Gen. Snipe Camp Sons of Veterans from Syracuse New York. The group is posed in front of the flag decked entrance to an armory in Geneva, New York. Image is clear and clean with only a small stain in the lower left corner.

The 126th New York served in the 3rd Brigade, 3rd Division, 2nd Corps at Gettysburg.
