Cabinet card size is approx. 4 ¼” x 6 ½” and is of heavy ivory stock. Bottom of mount is marked with the photographer’s imprint, “APPLEGATE, 8TH AND VINE STS. PHILADELPHIA.”. No markings on reverse.
Image shows a waist-up view of a mustached veteran wearing a dark colored suit and vest, with white shirt and cravat with stick pin. He has three G.A.R medals pinned on his jacket, and a pin on his lapel.
Contrast is very good and image is clear. Edges have light wear and surface dirt. [sm]
