Overall good condition; light soiling around edges. Minor damage/paper loss along side and bottom edges.

Born in 1839, John W. Evardon was a 22 year old resident of Gilsum, NH when he enlisted as a private on 9/9/61. Mustered into Co. D, 91^st NH on 9/17/61. Discharged for disability on 6/19/63 at Concord. Died in 1925 and is buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Keene, NH.   [ld]
