Image shows a mounted Apache Indian in left profile. He is posed in an open field in front of a hill with a small house at its base.

Card meas. approx. 5.00 x 5.00 inches with the square image meas. approx. 3.25 x 3.25 inches at center.

The Indian wears a light-colored slouch hat with light shirt, dark unbuttoned vest and dark trousers. He has tied a handkerchief around his neck. A close look reveals a dead deer strapped to the back of his saddle. The horse has a white coat and light mane.

Image is clear with great contrast. Mount is in nice condition.

There is no photographer’s mark but reverse has an old pencil inscription that reads “’SARGENT FRANK’ APACHE.”
