The subject of this image is identified on the reverse in modern blue ink as “GRANDPA CLANCY-MICHAEL J. CLANCY.” He wears a dark kepi with crossed rifles on the front, a dark five-button sack coat and light trousers. Coat has light colored corporal chevrons on each sleeve.

Image has very good clarity and contrast. There is some light scattered surface dirt and a small chip along the right edge.

There is no photographer’s mark.  [AD]
