PERIOD LITHOGRAPH CDV OF FORT MONROE IN 1861

$75.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 259-70

Nice wartime lithograph of Fort Monroe from the air.

Contrast is a little dark in the corners but is otherwise good.

Reverse is blank.

The fort was an important Union stronghold during the war and it was from here that the bulk of McClellan’s forces sailed at the start of the Peninsula Campaign.  [ad]
