CDV is a full standing view of two young men. One is a soldier who stands with his right hand resting on the shoulder of his friend who is dressed in civilian clothes and standing on crutches. Closer inspection shows that the young man in civilian clothes is missing his right leg below the knee. There is some resemblance between the two men and they may be brothers or cousins. Contrast and clarity is good. There is light surface dirt and an ink stain along the right side approx. halfway down.
Reverse has no photographer’s imprint and nothing to give a clue as to who these two young men are or what state they were from. There is a green 3 cent tax stamp.
