This CDV by E. & H.T. Anthony is a composite of multiple images of Union leaders. Altogether there are 7 images on the card. At center is President Abraham Lincoln with Lieutenant General U.S. Grant above him and Major General George H. Thomas below. The left edge of the card has Major General Philip Sheridan and Admiral David D. Porter while the right edge has Major General William T. Sherman and Admiral David G. Farragut.

At the top of the card is a patriotic shield centered over a riband that reads “OUR PEACE COMMISSIONERS” and at the very bottom of the card is another riband that reads “FOR 1865.”

Photo surface shows light wear and light dirt. Contrast is good and lettering is readable. Reverse has photographer’s imprint as mentioned above.
