CDV is a collage of photos of seven Union Generals of the Army of the Potomac. The Generals are: George Meade who was commanding General of the AOP; Ambrose Burnside of the 9th Corps; Winfield Scott Hancock of the 2nd Corps; Ulysses S. Grant, Lt. General commanding all US forces; Gouverneur K. Warren of the 2nd and 5th Corps; William F. “Baldy” Smith of the 18th Corps; and Horatio G. Wright of the 6th Corps They are each wearing dark colored, double breasted frock coats with shoulder boards.

Reverse has the photographer’s imprint which reads, “SPECIALITE, SELBY & McCAULEY, PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM & CARTE DE VISITE, DEPOT, NO. 36 WEST BALTIMORE STREET”.

Image is clear and the contrast is good. Surface has some light dirt from age.
