CDV is a chest-up view of Confederate General James Longstreet. He is wearing a Confederate double breasted frock coat with stand-up collar. Bottom of mount is labeled, “GEN. LONGSTREET”.
Reverse has a photographer’s imprint which reads, “THE MONUMENTAL PHOTOGRAPH COMPANY, 178 W. BALTO. ST. BALTIMORE, MD”.
Image is clear and the contrast is good. Surface has some light dirt from age. Image has yellowed with time. [sm]
