2/3 length seated view in civilian clothing.  Corners have been clipped; some minor damage at lower corners.  Image is otherwise clean and bright; good contrast and clarity.  Period ink ID on reverse, “Truly your friend [?] / B. F. Eshleman”.  BM:  Photographed by Charles W. Eberman, No. 26 West King Street, Lancaster, PA.  Two cent revenue stamp on reverse as well.

Benjamin F. Eshleman enlisted on 3/15/65 as a private.  On that date he was mustered into Co. E, 87th PA Infantry.  Mustered out on 6/29/65 at Alexandria, VA.   [ld]
