Bust view CDV of Captain William H. H. Hall Company G, 6th Vermont Infantry. Hall wears a dark double-breasted frock coat with a GAR Membership badge and a State or National Officer’s badge.
Image is clear with good contrast but it does have moderate surface dirt.
Modern pencil ID on the back reads “W. H. H. HALL, CHELSEA, VT.” A red ink stamp on the back gives the photographer’s ID as H. L. BIXBY…CHELSEA, VT. Reverse also has some glue residue.
William H. H. Hall was commissioned Captain on October 15, 1861. He resigned on April 18, 1862. [ad]
