Image is clean and clear with great contrast. Bottom corners of mount are clipped.
Reverse has back mark for M. MOULTHROP…NEW HAVEN, CONN.
This surgeon could be from one of the Connecticut regiments or from Knights General Hospital which was also in New Haven.
