Item Code: 801-328

CDV is a full seated view of a Confederate soldier, possibly cavalry. The subject is seated in a chair. His legs are crossed, which gives us a great view of his tall boots.  He wears a light gray colored coat with hand sewn black 1st Sergeant stripes. His has a dark colored forage cap with insignia.  He also has a dark colored vest and trousers which have been tinted blue.

Reverse has the handwritten inscription which reads, “TRUE AS EVER, MILLER”.

Image is clear and the contrast is good. Surface has some light dirt from age.
