Three-quarter standing view of an unidentified man wearing a dark slouch hat with matching suit coat and trousers. The coat is cut to look like a sack coat. He wears a sash across his chest and another around his waist. At his waist is also a Model 1851 NCO belt with rectangular plate. A reunion ribbon is pinned to his left breast.
Image is clear with good contrast.
Reverse has clue and cardboard residue from an album. Back is also marked with a red ink stamped photographer’s back mark from Chelsea, Vermont. [ad]
