THE LITTLEST SAILORS”.  Image on left is a CDV standing view of a young boy in a dark colored Zouave jacket with collar, trousers and boots. Backmark reads, “F. CLAPSADEL, PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTIST, WILCOX BLOCK, MAIN ST. FAINESVILLE, OHIO”. Image is very clean, and clear with good contrast. Image on right is a CDV standing view of a young boy in a dark colored Zouave jacket, baggy trousers and hat with tassel. Backmark reads, “THORN, PHOTOGRAPHER OVER THE BANK, BLOOMFIELD, N.J.” Image has light spotting but is clear with good contrast. Lower image is a gem sized tintype in brass mat of a waist-up view of a young man with very short hair.
