1870’s to 1880’s CDV image of an unknown fireman. Image shows a young man wearing a dark bibbed shirt with a thin tie around his neck. The center of the bib has a large letter “A.” Also on the subject’s chest is a badge with the number 1 at center.

Image is clear and clean with good contrast.

Reverse has a photographer’s back mark for OLLIS, WINCHENDON.” Under the imprint in pencil is “MASS.” Top of reverse also has a modern pencil inscription that reads “GEORGE VOSE, FIREMAN.”  [ad]
