FULL STANDING VIEW OF A FEDERAL SOLDIER

$40.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: P14131

CDV shows an unidentified soldier posed leaning against the back of a chair with one arm resting on his hip. He wears a dark civilian frock coat with a matching military vest with watch chain and light trousers with a dark leg stripe as worn by NCOs.

Image has good clarity and contrast. Mount has clipped corners. The paper does have an ink smudge near the subjects left arm.

Reverse has no photographer’s imprint. Top has a period pencil ID that is very difficult to read.  Looks like “MR. M. SAUCER” or “LAUCER” over “NORRISTOWN.”  [ad]
