CDV is a three-quarter seated view of a bearded officer wearing a commercial sack coat with 1st Lieutenant shoulder straps, a dark military vest and matching trousers. Just visible along the left side of the image is the Lieutenant’s forage cap which is resting on the marble topped table next to him.
Image has good clarity and contrast as most Brady marked images do. Paper and mount are good. Bottom of mount is marked BRADY…NEW YORK.
Reverse has an imprint for BRADY’S GALLERY…NEW YORK…& WASHINGTON, D.C. [ad]
