NICE SEATED CDV OF A DOUBLE ARMED UNION CAVALRYMAN

$125.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1097-244

Image has a few minor problems but all in all is a nice view. The very young subject is seated by a cloth covered table. He wears a dark slouch hat with cord, dark cavalry shell jacket with piping and light trousers. In his lap he cradles his Model 1860 cavalry saber and stuck in the front of his belt is a Colt revolver.

Clarity and contrast are good. Mount has clipped corners and the top right corner of the paper is torn and missing. There is also a white spot obscuring a small portion of the chair leg support. This was caused by something sticking to the image surface and lifting the paper in this area.

Reverse is blank.  [ad]
