CDV OF ILLINOIS CHILD IN UNIFORM – A GIFT FOR HIS AUNT

$60.00

Item Code: 1054-765

Delightful image of a young boy, perhaps 8 or 9 years old, posed standing and resting one hand on a covered table. The boy wears a dark army pattern shell jacket with eight brass buttons running down the front and matching dark trousers.

Clarity and contrast are good. Paper and mount have only light surface dirt throughout.

Reverse has photographer’s imprint for JOSEPH EVEN…MORRIS, ILL. Top has period pencil inscription in an adult’s handwriting “THIS FOR AUNT ELLEN” and in childlike scrawl underneath is “CHARLES FORD.”    [ad]
