Image shows a young clean shaven soldier posed beside a low column. His dark forage cap sits on top of the column. The subject wears a dark single-breasted frock coat with light trousers. The coat has clearly visible 2nd Lieutenant’s shoulder straps. The frock coat is open to reveal a dark civilian vest.
Photo has good clarity and contrast. Paper and mount are mostly clean with only light surface dirt around the edges. Bottom corners of the mount are clipped.
Reverse is blank. [ad]
