Case is in very nice condition. The pattern on the outside is called “Ring of Fruit”. The raised pattern shows a ring of leafed fruit inside of a scrollwork border.

Case is in good condition with one small crack approx. 1.00 inch in length on the top back edge of the front. This is a minor blemish that is not readily picked up by the eye.

The interior has a label on each side for HOLMES, BOOTH & HAYDENS’ DAGUERREOTYPE PHOTOGRAPHIC AND AMBROTYPE GOODS, OF EVERY DESCRIPTION.

With the case is the glass, brass mat with scroll decorations and frame.  [ad]
