This wonderful image is of five well- dressed civilian gentlemen. Each is wearing a civilian frock coat, vest, and cravat. One can see the watch fobs attached to their vests and the pattern on the fabric of some of the vests.
Image is clear with good contrast and detail. Some oxidation is present, mostly on the edges.
The image comes with a decorative brass mat and an embossed pressed paper case. Case is split where it was once attached and is lightly distressed. Case is lined in dark blue embossed velvet. Brass mat has a slight amount of verdigris present. Case measures 6” x 4 ¾”.
