This is a view of a man standing behind a table holding the leash of a dog who is standing on the table. Man is wearing a frock coat, white shirt, cravat and a tall hat.

Image is clear with fair contrast. Some light oxidation has occurred.

Image comes housed in full pressed paper case, which is in very good condition.  Case is lined in faded red colored velvet which has an embossed design. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image.

This ambrotype was part of a unique collection of images that featured animals.   [sm]
