This is a full view of a man and woman sitting in chairs with a dog lying between them.  Man is wearing a shirt, sweater, trousers and hat. Woman is wearing a short sleeved blouse, skirt with sash, trousers and a hat. They are each holding a rifle.

Image is clear with very good contrast. Some light oxidation has occurred.

Image comes housed in full pressed paper case, which is in very good condition. Case is lined in dark red velvet with an embossed design. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image.

This ambrotype was part of a unique collection of images that featured animals.    [sm]
