Waist-up seated view. Wearing a large wide brimmed straw hat with tassel at side. Also wearing a Naval coatee with buttons on cuff, neckerchief, and jumper shirt with dungaree collar. A piece of paper attached to the velvet lined case cover reads in ink " This is either great Uncle Teddy- Ed. A. Caraway or his father Peter Caraway." Image has been cleaned and resealed. Some minor brush scratches and a small emulsion spotting. Full case and mat with protector.
