Early image, circa 1855 in Winchester, Virginia, shows a waist up view of a young lady wearing a dark colored dress with wide white lace collar. Image is clear with good contrast. Oxidation has occurred on plate, mainly on edges.

Image comes housed in half leatherette case with decorative mat. Case shows minor wear.  [sl]
